DESCRIPTION:Please be invited to the handover of one of our joint community
  service projects with the Rotary Club of Nakhon Pathom to promote literac
 y\, reading comprehension and increase vocabulary for the children at Ban 
 Huay Sai Ngam School at 10:30 am on Tuesday\, 29 September. As part of our
  club’s Library for Literacy program\, we are going to deliver a new set
  of 160 storybooks in Thai and English language to augment the school’s 
 library. The books were selected by the academics of Chulalongkorn Univers
 ity to promote literacy\, increase vocabulary\, and develop reader compreh
 ension. Ban Huay Sai Ngam School educates 157 students with support from t
 he Bright Dawn Foundation\, and is located near Nong Phlap village about 4
 0 kilometers west of the Hua Hin city center. “Children’s books are a 
 powerful tool enhancing the brain development of a young child\, especiall
 y their all-important language skills. Stories not only bring happiness an
 d enjoyment\, but also add new words to a child’s vocabulary\, help them
  develop and practice their comprehension\, and lay the foundation for the
 m to understand the concept of reading.” (UNICEF Thailand\, 2024) Regist
