On Saturday 14 th December, the alumni of Fine and Applied Arts Department of Chulalongkorn University will present an evening of Thai Classical music and dance at Chom Dong. Among the stringed instruments used during the performance will be several made from fiddle coconuts grown at Chom Dong ,and dancers will be in full costume. The event will commence with tea in the garden at 4.30 pm to be followed by the performance at 6.30 pm. Guests are requested to be seated by 6.15 pm. Ticket prices at 2,000 baht are inclusive of the tea. For those interested , please contact Khun Kanjana at kanjana2015@gmail.com or 081-5515324. We encourage guest to dress Thai style and prizes will be awarded to best costumes. Rotarian Daniel Burn will take a detailed look at the much used but perhaps underestimated writing instrument! He will look at the development and history of such items as the ball point pen. Daniel will also investigate ways in which he may be able to assist our School project with the donation of various writing items. Buffet lunch 460 THB. Dress smart casual. |
