Please join our club lunch meeting for an inspiring and eye-opening presentation by Danish priest Nicolaj Stubbe Hørlyck. Currently serving in Thailand, Nicolaj will share interesting stories from his life as a traveling priest, from traditional duties to the most unexpected calls for help. He’ll also take us back to his years in India, where the same mission took on a whole new shape – a journey of faith, adaptability, and cross-cultural connection. We hope to see you there!

This is one of the biggest Rotary events of the year and it’s always a lot of fun building relationships with our old and new friends from 105 clubs in District 3330. This is our joint-project with the Hua Hin Lions Club’s “Sight First” initiative that provides free eyeglasses with vision tests and eye exams at Time Optic Hua Hin. The prescription eyeglasses cost THB 250 each and we are sponsoring 100 pairs in total. Special thanks to President Gee and Vice-President Jemilin and members of the Hua Hin Lions Club for organizing this great initiative for the children in our city. We hope to see you there!

VENUE CHANGE to Navy Phirom Hotel

Please join us for our next Children's Water Safety & Drowning Prevention training from 21-23 May between 9:00-15:00 at the Navy Phirom Hotel. Fifty children ages 10 to 12 from Ban Nong Khon School are going to be trained over three days by certified instructors from the Marine Police, Hua Hin Municipality and Hua Hin Hospital. Feel free to stop by and observe the training and we hope to see you there.

Please join us for another handover ceremony for our donation of new eyeglasses for 51 students at Anuban Hua Hin Ban Nong Khon School at 9:00 am on 22 July. This is our joint-project with the Hua Hin Lions Club’s “Sight First” initiative that provides free eyeglasses with vision tests and eye exams at Time Optic Hua Hin. The prescription eyeglasses cost THB 250 each and we have sponsored 100 pairs in total, plus an extra 10 pairs donated by our member Andrew and his family.

This is the same school that we have our club’s Rotary Education Center (REC). Opened in 2020, we sponsored the building construction and furnishings of the REC as well as 34 new computers and other state-of-the-art equipment to promote technology-enhanced learning at the school.

Special thanks to President Gee and Vice-President Jemilin and members of the Hua Hin Lions Club for organizing this great initiative for the children in our city. The Lions Club will give a presentation on their club and service projects at our club lunch meeting on 22 July as well. We hope to see you there!

The Rotaract Club of Stamford International University with the support of Stamford International University, the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, and the Rotary Club of Ratchaburi, cordially invites everyone to join the Mother’s Day Blood Drive on from 9:00-12:00 on 31 August at the Stamford Auditorium to help save the lives of Thai soldiers.

Rotary International’s theme for September is Basic Education and Literacy, emphasizing the importance of education and literacy in transforming lives and communities.

Please join us for another excursion to the Bueng Nakhon branch of Ban Nern Phayom School to hand over our donation of much-needed classroom supplies to the 38 students and four teachers on 8 September. It is another club activity to visit the school and ice cream will be provided for the children as well. This is the same school where we recently installed the dual-lithium battery and DC/AC inverter that provides sustainable and uninterrupted electricity generated by the solar photo-voltaic array.

Located in the mountainous region of Bueng Nakhon, the school and the local villagers are not connected to the electricity grid but a limited amount of solar power is in use. The school is about a 75-minute drive from the Hua Hin city center on paved roads and we might organize van transport depending on the number of registered attendees.
