Please be invited to the handover of one of our community service projects to promote education and literacy for the children at Baan Nong Krathing School at 9:00 am on 9 March. We are going to deliver a set of 160 storybooks in Thai language to augment the school’s library. The books were selected by the academics of Chulalongkorn University to promote literacy, increase vocabulary, and develop reader comprehension.

Baan Nong Krathing is a government school for 59 children in grades 1 to 8 with eight teachers, and located in a remote, undeveloped region of the Kui Buri subdistrict, about a one-hour’s drive from Bluport Shopping Mall.

“Children’s books are a powerful tool enhancing the brain development of a young child, especially their all-important language skills. Stories not only bring happiness and enjoyment, but also add new words to a child’s vocabulary, help them develop and practice their comprehension, and lay the foundation for them to understand the concept of reading.” (UNICEF Thailand, 2024)

Be sure to register your names soon because we need to inform the venue of the headcount in advance to ensure adequate food and beverage preparation and to avoid excess food waste.

If you register and then decide that you won’t be able to attend, be sure to delete your names from the registered list on our Club Runner website by 8 March. Registration is required and we hope to see you there as we UNITE FOR GOOD in the spirit of Rotary!

Stamford International University, Hua Hin Campus, is honored to host the special forum “Meet with the Ambassadors” featuring five distinguished Ambassadors from the Republic of the Philippines, the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, the Republic of Guatemala, Hungary, and Romania. The event will be presided over by the Governor of Phetchaburi Province.

The forum, under the theme of “Diplomacy and Global Leadership in a Changing World”, aims to provide students and distinguished guests in the Hua Hin and Cha-am community with the opportunity to exchange perspectives, strengthen international networks, and enhance community engagement within a global context.

The members of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin are invited to attend this event with lunch on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, from 9:30 to 13:00 at the Auditorium, Building 2, Stamford International University, Hua Hin Campus.
