President Brian opened the meeting and discussed the recent and upcoming Rotary events as well as an update on the generous donations received for our new ambulance project for Hua Hin Hospital. The topic of the day was an entertaining presentation on Rotary information by our Club Learning Facilitator, Charter President Alan who focused on the history of Rotary International, District 3330 and our club.
Bangkok Hospital’s international marketing executive Ms. Fah attended our meeting again and distributed the Resident Cards to our members who had applied for them in the past, and other members were given the opportunity to sign up for the medical benefit program. Rotarian Rini announced the grand opening of the exciting new Elder Blossom Community Center in Hua Hin.
We had a few of our long-time Rotarian friends visit us again; President Nigel, Past President Dougie and Rotarian Rudi from our sponsor club, the Rotary Club of Bangkok South. Rotarian David was the lucky winner of the bottle of wine for the day and everyone enjoyed the fellowship and luncheon after the meeting.
