President Helmut opened our lunch meeting and gave the audience an overview of this month’s recent club events. A collage of photos was shared of our Celebration of Life gathering in remembrance of our Rotarian Captain Rick Rees, our Fellowship Night from last week and the handover ceremony for the football equipment that we donated to the students of Nong Hoi School, Wang Phong School and Wang Yao School.
Our special guest speaker of the day was Dr Paweena Narathong, a neurologist at Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin who enlightened us with her expertise in “Neurology and Aging” and the warning signs and types of stroke, Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease. Also in attendance were the hospital’s Assistant Director Dr Pongsak with marketing team members Khun Prangsurang and Khun Yanisa. Visiting Rotarian Herve of RC Beaulieu Cote d’ Azur in France was the day’s winner of the wine.
