Dear Fellow Rotarians
As we celebrate Membership Month this August, as a member of
Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, you not only play an important role in inspiring current members, but also in attracting new ones.
Finding a new member can be as simple as inviting someone you know to your next meeting, to the Fellowship evening, to other Rotary functions or join the project activities. To be a member of the Rotary family is to be a part of diverse, worldwide team whose members providing services to humanity.
As part of his role of Inter Club Relations Officer, Alan Brown representing the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin along with his wife Nadia attended the School for the Blind with Multiple Disabilities in Cha Am on Saturday 20th July 2019.
On Wednesday 24th July 2019 Stamford International University held its student club day to encourage new members to join their Rotaract Club. The SIU Rotaractors are one of 32 Clubs in District 3330, and this is the largest number of Rotaractor Clubs in Thailand.
The first lunch meeting of Rotary year 115 and the first to be presided over by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin’s new President Napa Keawtem on the 9th July 2019 saw the inauguration of two new members.
Rotarians and regular visitors to the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, Roger and Carol Ward of the Rotary Club of Aireborough, UK, recently presented illustrated dictionaries to Year 2 pupils of Featherbank Primary School, Horsforth, West Yorkshire
On Tuesday 2nd July 2019 the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin held its first fellowship evening of 2019-20 under the leadership of their new President Napa Keawtem.
On 29 June the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin attended the Installation Night for our ‘Father Sponsor’ club, the Rotary Club of Bangkok South. The gala event was filled with great fellowship, entertainment, cuisine and endless beverages.
During June 2019 The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin donated much needed supplies to schools for hill tribe children in Mae Yuam district of Mae Sariang, in Thailand’s northern province of Mae Hong Son. RCRHH sponsored the total of 90 raincoats and hundreds of packs of crayons, coloured pencils and paper drawing pads
