Dear Rotarians & Friends,
April was another great month for the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin beginning with the celebration of our 9th Year since receiving charter from Rotary International on 12 April 2010. Over 60 attendees joined the festivities to recognize our multicultural membership of 52 Rotarians of 17 nationalities. We also enjoyed an extra special fellowship night with our mother club, RC Hua Hin to bring in the Thai New Year’s Songkran holidays. It was a great evening of camaraderie between Rotarians and guests and the party included a lot of fun with the prickly heat talcum powder on your face and the ice water down your back!
Rotarians have always taken a sincere interest in helping to prepare the next generation – with programs and projects that help with health and education and lead the way to world peace and understanding. Beyond this fact, young people are also the future of our organization if we choose for Rotary to survive and thrive beyond our lifetime. Through our Rotary youth programs, we can not only provide service that is the keystone of our organization but also to develop relationships and provide exposure to our wonderful organization and the ideals of “Service Above Self” to the next generation.
The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin sponsors two Rotaract Clubs within the city, based at the Webster University and Stamford International University, and continues to work with them on community service projects to this day.
Rotaract is a Rotary sponsored club for ages 18 to 30. Rotaractors are involved in community and international service projects, as well as professional development and leadership training, and are good partners in service with their sponsoring Rotary clubs.

About 60 members and guests of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin supported their 9 Year Celebration Fellowship Night at the Movenpick Asara Resort & Spa on Tuesday 2nd April 2019. The Fellowship event celebrated RCRHH's 9th year, the first unofficial meeting being held on 11th September 2009 and the Charter received on 12th April 2010. Also present were Rotarians from RC Hua Hin and Patong Beach in Thailand, RC Kalamalka in Canada and RC Zurich West in Switzerland.
The RC Royal Hua Hin attended the ‘Songkran’ Thai New Year festivities hosted by our mother club, RC Hua Hin on 11 April at the Grand Hotel.
