110 Members and guests enjoyed great hospitality provided by the manager of the hotel Mr Sven Walter and his staff which included free flow wines and beer and an International buffet including Christmas fare. The members and guests were able to demonstrate their dance floor techniques to the sounds of the hotels resident duo.
President Napa in her address to the audience welcomed everyone to the Movenpick Asara Resort and Spa and hoped they would enjoy our last fellowship evening of 2019 and that some of our numerous visitors would consider joining the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin.
President Napa called upon the Golf Committee to stand up and thanked them for their efforts at this years 10th Anniversary Amateur Golf Classic on the 29th November 2019 which raised a record breaking 1,342,776 million Thai Baht, which would be used to support future local community projects.
The manager of the Hotel Mr Sven Walter welcomed the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin and their guests and stated it was a pleasure to be chosen to host this years Christmas party and looked forward to future relationships with the club. Mr Walter went on to say that the Movenpick Asara resort and Spa would give members of the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin a preferential offer of discounts of 15% off food in the Kampu restaurant and 20% off Asara Spa a la carte menu.
During the evening President Napa exchanged club banners with Mr Hogane from the Smalandsstenar Rotary Club in Sweden.
Raffle tickets sold to members and guests after dinner raised 41,000 Thai Baht which again would be used to fund local projects within the community of Hua Hin and surrounding areas.
The Board of Directors and members of the Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin would like to take this opportunity to wish all the people who have supported us over the years a very merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year..
