Rotarian Martin Harrison from the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, who is currently languishing in the UK, met with the 'real' Father Christmas over the weekend to discuss Rotary matters in general. The meeting took place in the Royal Priors Shopping Mall in Royal Leamington Spa.The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Royal Leamington Spa ran for the two weekends prior to Christmas and entailed children's parents paying a fee and then visiting Father Christmas and being given a very nice quality gift.
Santa himself was aided by two elves one of whom later masqueraded as Martin!
Business was brisk over the whole four days and Fr Christmas was heard to utter "Hmmmph I'll be glad when it's all over"!
All funds raised will go to help the local charities the RCRLS are involved with.
