On Wednesday the 3rd March 2021 the young Rotaractors from Stamford International University under the guidance of Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin Youth Services Chair Benjamas Uamsa-Ard took their ‘All for One and One for All 3’ project to the Baan Klong Noi School which is a Police Border School located in the village of Baan Klong Noi in the rural area of Pa La -U.
Due to the restrictions caused by Covid-19 that last event the Rotoractors took part in was All for One and One for All 2 in December 2019, so our young enthusiastic Rotoractors were keen to get involved in another worthwhile project.

During prior consultation with the school’ Director Police Lieutenant Colonel Narong Piemya a project was discussed which involved enclosing an animal feed store that held supplies to feed the chickens, pigs and other animals reared at the school for both educational purposes and to help feed the children and staff at the school.
Attending the event where 11 Rotaractors including President Jarukit Wongthongbang, seven members of Stamford International University staff, Rotary Club Royal Hua Hin Youth Services Chair Benjamas Uamsa-Ard and President Elect Phil Lawrence.

Once the formalities were over the female Rotoractors, STU staff and the 9 teachers of the school arranged various games for the 120 children who attend the school, whilst the guy’s picked up their tools and started work on the main theme of the project.

Rotarian Benjamas and PE Phil were given a guided tour of the School by Police Lieutenant Colonel Narong Piemya. (A separate story will give more information about the school).

Lunch of noodle soup and chicken was provided by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin and was served to the students by the Rotoractors and STU staff. Whilst lunch was taken the STU band entertained the children and guests with a medley of Thai songs.

After lunch work on the feed store began in earnest and the project was completed on schedule by 16:30hrs that afternoon.
