Intrepid Rotarian Alan Brown and his wife Nadia from the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin have recently made another trip to the Cambodia Academy at Mongkol Borei, Beantey Meanchey Province in the Northwest of the country, where they are both directors.  Once again they took much needed supplies for the school, some of which had been as a result of a donation from the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin.

Alan helped with the refurbishment of the floor together with the Principal Soviet Miech.

As well as moving ahead with the environmental project using actual sea shells collected from Hua Hin and carefully drilled so that they could be threaded together within the collage,  Nadia visited Re Hash Trash in Siem Reap part of the Green Gecko Project , where they have provided employment for women, who very cleverly turn discarded plastic bags, which like the rest of South East Asia is a major pollutant problem, into useful items for the house, place mats and bottle coolers.  Nadia tried her hand at making items with the only 'mechanical' equipment available, being her big toe & a crochet hook!

Further visits to the Academy are planned later in the year.
