We celebrated the highlight of any club meeting, the welcoming induction of our two newest members, David and Ludger, and we look forward to working together with them in the spirit of Rotary. President Brian gave an overview of our membership and community service projects completed since the beginning of this Rotary Year 120 as well as our recent and upcoming events.
The projects were undertaken for our stakeholders in local and remote schools and hospitals as well as our financial contribution to the Rotary District 3350 Disaster Relief Fund for humanitarian aid supporting those affected in Myanmar by the recent earthquake. Rotarians from many clubs in Myanmar and Thailand have joined together to coordinate the purchase and distribution of food, water, essential items and equipment in Myanmar with the Magic of Rotary.
Rotarian Peter presented our current club finances in detail and he also won the bottle of wine for the day. We also welcomed the international marketing team of Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin to distribute the annual Resident Cards for medical services to our members.
