President Brian opened the meeting and gave an overview of recent club activities including our service project visit to Ban Khlong Noi Border Patrol Police School in the mountainous region of Pala-U, and our Donor Recognition ceremony and Multi-Club Fellowship Night with the clubs that donated funding to help us purchase the new ambulance for Hua Hin Hospital. Our Webmaster Peter presented an update on our 14th annual Charity Golf Classic tournament scheduled for 29 November.
Our guest speaker was A.I. expert Justin Leonhard who gave an introduction on his research in Swarm Intelligence (S.I.), and examples of its application in publishing, education and entertainment. Justin is the co-founder of Conchware L.L.C. with Wanwisa Boonchub, who was a charter member of the Rotaract Club of Webster University Thailand.
