We had a very special club lunch meeting where we welcomed His Excellency Mr. Danny Annan, the Danish Ambassador to Thailand & Cambodia on 10 June. Marking over 400 years of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Denmark, H.E. Danny candidly shared his insights on the longstanding relationship between the two kingdoms and how today’s shifting geopolitical landscape is shaping international cooperation. He was accompanied by his son Markus and Ms. Charlotte Duelund Zichau, the Consul of the Royal Danish Embassy in Bangkok.
Our multinational club recently received the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion award from District 3330 of Rotary International, and Rotarians Hanne and Erik were awarded the prestigious Paul Harris Fellow pins for their contributions to The Rotary Foundation. Our Fundraising Director Peter was the lucky winner of the bottle of wine for the day, and special thanks to our Danish President-Nominee Morten for organizing this memorable event.
