Our club lunch meeting on 27 January welcomed visiting Rotarians from six Rotary clubs as well as invited guests of our members. President Brian spoke about our recent activities supporting three schools for Thai National Children’s Day and Rotarian Guenter presented an overview of our community service projects for the first half of this Rotary year from 1 July 2025 to date, as well as their placement in Rotary International’s Seven Areas of Focus.
Rotarian Benjamas as the faculty advisor for the Rotaract Club of Stamford International University presented the outcomes of their annual International Charity Night held on 21 January. The evening was fully booked and the guests were entertained by exciting performances of song and dance as well as a spectacular fashion runway by Miss Thailand International finalists and the Miss Prachuap Khirikhan beauty queens. The proceeds are earmarked for the Rotaract club’s upcoming volunteer community service project activities for young students at Ban Nong Krathing School in Kui Buri district.
The meeting concluded with an international buffet lunch with Rotary fellowship and Past President Paul presented visitor Hans-Dieter with the bottle of wine for the day.
