We held a special club lunch meeting to express our gratitude to the generous sponsors that supported our 14th Annual Amateur Charity Golf Classic at Pineapple Valley Golf Club last November. The golf tournament is our primary fundraising event of the year and special thanks to the sponsors and the golfers who always look forward to a great day of golf and a fun-filled gala dinner with musical entertainment till late.
President Brian opened the meeting and presented the details on our community service projects completed since 1 July 2024 as well as the in-process projects to be completed by the end of this Rotary year. Rotarian Arnold thanked everyone for their continued support and spoke about our 15th Annual Tournament scheduled for 28 November.
Rotarian Andrew presented a club banner from his recent visit to the Rotary Club of Calgary Olympic in Alberta, Canada and Rotarian Arnold won the bottle of wine for the day.
