Our club welcomed special guest speaker Dr. Anthony Perillo, a long-time health and wellness executive and former Chief Wellness Officer at Chiva-Som, for an engaging talk on healthspan—the years of life lived with energy, independence, and purpose.
Drawing on decades of experience in preventive and lifestyle-based health, Dr. Perillo discussed why aging is typically a gradual process rather than a sudden decline, and what truly drives it beyond weight alone. The conversation focused on practical, evidence-informed steps that help protect mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.
Designed to be accessible and non-technical, the talk emphasized that living longer is not the same as living better. Our attendees left with clear, actionable insights and a renewed perspective on how to stay active, capable, and engaged well into later life.
Everyone enjoyed the international buffet lunch with our traditional club fellowship and Past President Paul presented Vice President Michel with the bottle of wine for the day.
