We had the pleasure of welcoming visiting Rotarians from six Rotary clubs and guests to our club lunch meeting on 10 February, which was also the recognition of our 10-year symbiotic relationship with Amari Resort Hua Hin.
President Brian spoke about our recent and upcoming community service projects and events as well as our official partnership with the Provincial Administrative Organization and the Ministry of Social Development & Human Security in their latest initiative for “Improvement of Living Environments for Vulnerable Groups in Prachuap Khirikhan Province”.
Our club member and long-time media partner Rotarian Richard, the director of Surf 102.5 FM gave an insightful presentation on how radio broadcasters are using Artificial Intelligence to generate audio as well as some other upcoming developments.
Our other guest speaker Clive Wetherill presented details about “Build The Future”, a non-profit organization that works to create thriving and sustainable communities and meet the basic needs through early childhood development programs, education and community development in South Africa.
We also exchanged club banners with visiting Rotarian Karin from the Rotary Club of Baden-Rohrdorferberg, Past President Ulrike from the Rotary Club of Stralsund Hansestadt and Rotarian Simon from the Rotary Club of Bath.
Mr. Kitti, the General Manager of Amari Resort Hua Hin with Events Manager Ms. Tida addressed the audience regarding our longstanding relationship since 2016 and provided a special international lunch buffet and dessert. The management and staff of Amari have always provided the best service and venue for our club’s lunch meetings and Installation Nights, and we look forward to continuing our relationship long into the future.
The meeting concluded with our fellowship lunch and RI District 3330 Assistant Governor Aree and Past President Paul presented visiting Rotarian Boel with the bottle of wine for the day.
