The DG then addressed the meeting and stated that as always he is happy to visit the RCRHH because the club is very active in the local community and always seems a happy club.  He was pleased that D3330 has two additional English speaking clubs at Patong and Koh Samui-Phangan.  Of the 101 Rotary clubs in district 3330 only four have a membership of more than 50 and he was very proud that RCRHH was one of them.  The DG thanked everyone for their hard work with the extensive and varied projects the club is involved with, and considers all the members of the RC as friends.

Rotarian Alan Brown made a special presentation to both the DG and his wife of unique gifts that cannot be found in shops. These were a wooden pen made from the wood of the laburnum tree and a key fob made from Scottish heather.
