Rotarians and friends enjoyed our annual Christmas Fellowship Night with outdoor poolside dining near the beach on 2 December at Rest Detail Hotel Hua Hin. The evening was a lot of fun as usual and we welcomed visiting Rotarians of nine other clubs from both Thailand and Europe, with Immediate Past District Governor Jakchai joining us again for the 4th consecutive year and Past District Governor Paikit.
An art auction and prize raffle drawing took place during the evening attracting generous proceeds earmarked for the new anesthesia technology project that we are going to hand over to Hua Hin Hospital on 27 December. World-renowned artists of the Baan Silapin Hua Hin Artist Village were on site with Ajarn Tawee quickly painting water-color portraits for the attendees while Ajarn Nang donated her original painting of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej for our fundraising auction.
Special thanks to Rest Detail Hotel for their fabulous service and scrumptious Christmas-style buffet dinner and Bangkok Rock Company for treating us to their festive libations. Also, thanks to Kim and Barry for their mood-setting musical performance, and Rotarian Dar for her photography expertise capturing the highlights throughout the night.
