Rotarians and friends attended our community service project handover ceremony for the new anesthesia technology at Hua Hin Hospital on 27 December.
As another one of our joint projects for humanitarian service involving multiple Rotary clubs and like-minded organizations, the much-needed, state-of-the-art equipment costing THB 2,550,000 is dedicated to support the growing demand of lifesaving medical treatment at the Intervention Neuroradiology, Cardiac Catheterization and Thrombectomy Unit of the hospital.
The mayor of Hua Hin City, Mr. Nopporn Wutthikul presided over the ceremony with President Brian introducing the guests and explaining the details of the project. In attendance to UNITE FOR GOOD were RI District 3330’s PDG Somphop, PDG Jutathip, PDG Chalermchat, PDG La-or, DGE Dr. Chatchawal and DGN Best, as well as many esteemed members of 12 Rotary clubs and friends. Representing Hua Hin Hospital were Dr. Patcharaporn who gave an overview of the hospital’s services, Chief Neurosurgeon Dr. Sarun, Head of Anesthesiology Dr. Pornrat, and other medical professionals.
Utilizing the proceeds generated from our 15th Annual Charity Golf Classic, our club was able to organize the purchase of the new equipment with additional contributions from the following project partners:
The Thieler Family
Claus Cramer Foundation
Rotary Club of Nakhon Pathom
Rotary Club of Bangkok South
Rotary Club of Patong Beach
Rotary Club of Pra Pathom Chedi
Rotary Club of Thavaravadi
Rotary Club of Hua Hin
Rotary Club of Pattaya
Special thanks to all the generous donors who have helped us bring this project to fruition and assist the hospital in continuing to provide essential medical services to those who need them the most.
For many years, our club has conducted high-impact service projects for the hospital and in year 2024 we purchased a new, fully equipped Rotary ambulance to provide emergency rescue service for our stakeholders. We also donated 13 manikins on 27 November 2025 to support the hospital’s CPR training programs in the wider community. We look forward to continuing our relationship with the hospital to help support the health and well-being of our community.
