In collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Stamford International University, the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin sponsored the Lifesaving Training program at Stamford International University with support from the rescue professionals of the Phetkasem Hua Hin Rescue Foundation, Hua Hin Hospital and the Hua Hin City Municipality on 16 September. With the mission to “Learn, Practice and Save Lives”, the training session was efficiently carried out by the trainers and the attendees reported that it was a lot of fun and they learned a lot, and it created a lasting impact having developed their knowledge of lifesaving techniques for those in distress.
Special thanks to our longstanding university partnership for the last 10 years, Stamford International University’s Executive Director Dr. Yunlin, Student Services Coordinator Ms. Kim, Club President Natalie and the Rotaractors with Faculty Advisor Dr. Revita, and our club’s Rotarian Fay (EMT) with the emergency rescue professionals for providing their expertise to help us CREATE LASTING IMPACT in the spirit of Rotary!
The students of Stamford International University have always embraced the ideals of University Social Responsibility (USR) through their self-motivated teams of altruistic individuals who create meaningful service projects for the community, and support education development initiatives at remote government schools.
Through community engagement and inclusion, the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin has been the dedicated sponsor of the Rotaract Club of Stamford International University Hua Hin Campus since receiving their official club charter from Rotary International in 2016.
