The Mornington Peninsula is an area in the south east of Melbourne extending from Frankston including the towns of Mornington Rosebud and Sorrento.  It is a famous wine region with more boutique wineries than the well known big names. It is particularly famous for Pinot Noir Wine, although all varieties are grown.

On Sunday 7th of March 2021 Nadia & Alan Brown joined the Rotary Club of Noble Park - Dingley on a Grape Harvesting event at the Marengo Redoubt Winery at Moorooduc.

Take a look at their website Home - Marengo Redoubt

The owners wife had been a Rotary exchange student to Norway in her younger life.

A fun day was had by all picking 2.3 tones of Pinot Gris grapes by hand direct from the vines.

As guests of the local Rotary Club of Noble Park - Dingley headed by their President Reny Frighetto a great time was had by all with most importantly tastings and lunch afterwards.

10 members of the club attended along with 40 other pickers some from other clubs.
