On Thursday 9th August 2018, 13 members of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin attended the Hua Hin General Hospital to present a much needed piece of equipment, a Nerve Stimulator Machine.  A Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (TENS or TNS) is the use of electric current produced by a device to stimulate the nerves for therapeutic purposes.

The presentation was made by President Brian Anderson and Immediate Past
President Birger Rexed to Doctor Nut Ratanakosai who accepted it on behalf of the hospital.

Hua Hin Hospital is the main public hospital in the city, it is a good option for common health care and provides Trauma, Heart Disease, Surgical, Orthopedics and Neurology facilities equipped with the latest medical technology. A new extension has recently been completed and the level of patient care has improved as a result.

The hospital is located about 5 km north of downtown between Soi 12 and Soi 10, on the way to the airport. Telephone 032 523 000.

President Brian Anderson said “To be able to help our local hospital is a great honor for the Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin.  Anything that is of benefit to the local community gives us all a real pride.  We will be looking at other ways we can help in the future”
