The RC Royal Hua Hin attended the ‘Songkran’ Thai New Year festivities hosted by our mother club, RC Hua Hin on 11 April at the Grand Hotel. Rotarians from clubs in the region gathered together for an evening of the traditional paying respect to the elders along with the splashing of water on the attendees, marking the annual water festival on 13 April.
President Brian said, ‘This annual event is always a great evening of camaraderie between Rotarians and guests and the party includes a lot of fun with the prickly heat talcum powder on your face and the ice water down your back to cool things off a bit.’
