Three intrepid Rotarians have recently visited Karen Village in Bang Saphan Noi District to distribute donated clothes, shoes and mosquito nets.  Carol and Roger Ward from RC Aireborough, Leeds in the UK and Phil Lawrence from the RC Royal Hua Hin used a vehicle previously supported and sponsored by the Rotary Club of Hua Hin to get the much needed supplies to the remote location.  Carol was in charge of distributing the items whilst Roger acted as the medical recorder for Nurse Ann.

Jungle Aid is a private charity bringing essential education, sustainability and medical support to displaced people in Thailand.

Their mission is to provide medical aid, education, support and micro-business opportunities to people living in remote locations on the Thailand Burmese boarder. The people supported live in remote locations on the border of Thailand and Myanmar and have extremely restricted resources.

Their primary aim is to provide them with the skills, knowledge and materials to become sustainable. For these people Jungle Aid is an important and essential lifeline. They aim to provide them with the knowledge, supplies and continued support to make a positive impact on their lives.
