Welcome to the Rotary Education Center (REC) at Anuban Hua Hin Ban Nong Khon School!
Established in 2020 by the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, the REC is a teacher-guided, inspirational source of learning with technology enabling the student’s journey of personal development and self-determination.
Five years ago our club sponsored the building construction and all furnishings of the REC as well as 34 new computers and other state-of-the-art equipment to promote technology-enhanced learning at the school, which now has over 700 students in grades 1 to 6. We have a team of dedicated Rotarians that provides support to ensure the computers are working properly with maintenance and software updates, and handed over 34 sets of new headphones to match the computers in the REC on 19 May.
We have a long relationship with Ban Nong Khon School spanning many years and have provided new toilet facilities, a brain-based learning playground and library with 160 storybooks for children, as well as English language training for the teachers.
Helping kids to help themselves, Rotary clubs focus on the improvement of education and well-being of children around the world.
