Rotarians and regular visitors to the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin, Roger and Carol Ward of the Rotary Club of Aireborough, UK, recently presented illustrated dictionaries to Year 2 pupils of Featherbank Primary School, Horsforth, West Yorkshire
Before the presentation, Roger gave a talk about their involvement with the RCRHH and the annual Fun Day at the Panyanukul School, Petchburi and the RC Bankapi’s Annual Children’s Outing at the Regent Beach Hotel. Carol then discussed their visits to Karen villages with Hua Hin Jungle Aid and the Knit and Natter ladies’ knitting group.
Two Rotary Clubs separated by so many miles, with so many differences in children’s needs and yet united by the common Rotary goals.
