The Rotaract Club and MBA students of Stamford International University conducted another community service project “Giving Opportunities, Creating Smiles for Children" at Baan Nong Krathing School in Kui Buri district of Prachuap Khirikhan province on 6 February.
It was their 7th Annual “All for One, One for All” event for kids that they designed in line with Stamford’s longstanding commitment to University Social Responsibility (USR), and was funded by the proceeds generated from their International Charity Night on 21 January.
The project included several English-learning activities for the kids with snacks and a group lunch, and the participants did maintenance and painting on the school facilities. New playground and sports equipment, school supplies, vegetable seeds, sport shirts and backpacks were provided for all 59 children at the school. Our club sponsored the lunch and ice cream for all the attendees.
The Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin has been the sponsor of this Rotaract club since receiving their charter in 2016, and they are now in their 10th year contributing as an effective service organization in the true spirit of Rotary with the motto of “Service Above Self”.
