In what has been a busy week for the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin during the week of the 9th to the 13th August 2021, supporting our local communities during the current Covid-19 lockdown, today saw a joint project between the Rotary Club Hua Hin and our club purchase 100 sets of Dupont Tyvek 500 one-piece personal protective suits (PPE) and 250 3M medical face masks to protect front line medical personnel from Covid-19 and other cross contaminants at the Hua Hin Hospital.
This project was first discussed several months ago and our current Service Project Chair and Past President Napa Keawtem undertook all the groundwork discussing the Hua Hin Hospital Requirements and researching the items on line before placing the order.

Through PP Napa's commitment the company upgraded from our original request of Tyvek 400, they upgraded free of charge to Tyvek 500.

PP Napa was also the conduit between the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin (RCRHH) and Rotary Club of Hua Hin (RCHH).

President Phil Lawrence RCRHH would like to thank President Aree Mitr-Uppatham of the RCHH and their members for supporting this joint project.

On average the Hua Hin Hospital uses 500 sets of Personal Protective Equipment a day.

We would also like to thank the ongoing support of David Watson our preferred media supporter for attending this event.
