On Saturday 7th September 2019 at the YESIST12 International Project Competition opening ceremony the Rotary Club of Royal Hua Hin represented by President Napa Keawtem, President Nominee Peter Iversen, Rotarians Gitte Iversen and Jean Claude Le Roux and Secretary Phil Lawrence exchanged Rotary Club Banners with two Rotary Clubs from India who were attending this event, the first time it was held in Thailand.
Rotary Club of Coimbatore West in Rotary District 3201 in Tamil Nadu India recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2017 having been granted its charter on the 12th October 1966. Currently the club has 70 members. Coimbatore, also known as Kovai and Koyamuthur, is a major city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located on the banks of the Noyyal River and surrounded by the Western Ghats. Coimbatore is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu after Chennai and the 16th largest urban agglomeration in India. Rotary Club of Salem Texcity was granted its Charter on the 30th July 2003. Salem is a city in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located about 160 kilometers northeast of Coimbatore, 186 kilometers southeast of Karnataka state capital Bangalore and about 340 kilometers southwest of the state and capital Chennai. Salem is the fifth largest city in Tamil Nadu by population; currently the club has 49 members.
